It looks like the Jesse Stone series is continuing; in book form that is. Michael Brandman, who produces the movie series with Tom Selleck, wrote the last Jesse Stone novel “Killing the Blues”. He has now finished penning the latest book in the series that is set to be released on September 11th and is titled “Fool Me Twice”. Let’s hope it is as good as Michael’s last one. If you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend that you give it a shot. It is excellent and it’s almost as if Robert B Parker wrote it himself.
Fool Me Twice – Synopsis
It is summertime in Paradise and this normally quiet, relaxing season is brimming with excitement and trouble. A movie is being shot in town with a huge cast and crew. The star of the movie (Marisol Hinton) is beautiful, but scared due to death threats she is receiving from her husband. The Paradise police department stays on the lookout for her estranged husband.
There is a horrific car accident involving a teen driver that results in the arrest of Marisol. Jesse gets himself in hot water as he fights with the DA and local politicians over the circumstances of the case. Of course there is also murder and Jesse’s detective skills are put to the test once again.
